Camelot is a live performance workstation that unifies setlist management, software instrument hosting, MIDI routing, audio playback, and score reading in a single cross-platform tool.

Unified Performance Workspace
Camelot organizes live shows into a hierarchy of Setlists, Songs, Scenes, Layers, and Items. A Song stores all required resources, including hardware and software instrument configurations, MIDI routing, music scores, and audio backing tracks. Selecting a Song loads these elements instantly.
The structure allows rapid on-the-fly editing. Drag and drop reorder Songs, Scenes, Layers, and Items, or duplicate them for quick changes. Templates capture any portion of a gig as reusable starting points, accelerating show preparation. Snapshots and Backups provide safety and flexibility.
Instrument Hosting and MIDI Management
Camelot hosts software instruments and audio effects as Items within Layers. MIDI processors like arpeggiators can be inserted at the start of a Layer to transform incoming controller data before feeding instruments. A built-in master FX chain with compressor, EQ, delay, and reverb processes the main audio output.
Hardware instruments are managed via Smart Maps, which communicate deeply to recall presets and switch modes without panel access. The MIDI patchbay routes, transposes, octave shifts, and filters events. Generic MIDI items send Program Changes, Bank Select, and Sysex, and can store learned message sequences.
Timeline, Backing Tracks, and Scene Automation
The Timeline area automates performance elements. It hosts multiple audio backing tracks with individual outputs, plus auto-play and auto-stop markers. Scene switches can be automated at precise points during playback, enabling hands-free transitions between presets, songs, and levels.
Trigger sequences using a single pedal or let the Timeline play and stop tracks automatically. The entire song structure is laid out in order, simplifying complex shows. Audio and MIDI events remain synchronized, allowing smooth progression through a set without manual intervention.
Score Reading, Cross-Device Backup, and Worksflow
Camelot includes a PDF music score reader that displays attachments like chords, lyrics, and sheet music on one or two pages. Users can annotate attached files and place notes on a dedicated annotation board. Files can be attached to individual Scenes or Songs and viewed with scrolling or page switching.
Backups compress the entire session into a single zip file that can be restored on any system running Camelot, even across different operating systems. The interface indicates missing MIDI ports with a red badge for quick reconfiguration. This workflow supports consistent rehearsal-to-stage operation.
