The library records live hi-hat grooves at 90, 120, and 140 BPM, which sync to your DAW’s tempo. You can crossfade between four hi-hat states, from tight to fully open, and adjust the Groove Speed to half, normal, or double. A Humanization feature offers Off, Tight, Natural, and Loose settings.
Sound Design Patches
Renegade includes 31 playable sound design patches that blend processed analog synths, electric and acoustic guitars, bass, live percussion pulses, and analog kits. These patches cover genres like nu-metal and underscore, offering atmospheric percussion and brooding basses.
The sound design content was curated for usefulness, with only inspiring and complementary patches included. You can control reverb for these patches and assign CC parameters for real-time manipulation, making them flexible for both production and scoring work.
Guitar and Bass Instruments
The Guitars & Bass section includes a distorted eight-string guitar, a distorted bass guitar, and two nylon guitar patches. For the eight-string and bass, you can crossfade live eighth-note patterns between palm-mute and fully open sounds.
Harder velocity hits trigger isolated samples with up to four round robins, which act as ending notes or allow further customization of guitar lines. This design enables dynamic, expressive performances that fit metal and rock productions.
