Komplete 26 Collector’s Edition is Native Instruments’ most extensive bundle, offering over 160 premium instruments and effects, plus 150+ Expansions, for comprehensive music production.
Purpose and Scope
Komplete 26 Collector’s Edition is designed as a complete creative toolkit for music producers, composers, and sound designers. It consolidates a vast range of instruments, effects, and sound libraries into a single package, aiming to support workflows from initial idea to final master. The bundle includes almost everything Native Instruments has released, providing a broad creative runway without the need to seek additional tools.
This edition is positioned as the most comprehensive in the Komplete line, incorporating major instruments like Kontakt 8, Massive X, and Guitar Rig 7 Pro, along with a host of new additions. It is suited for users who want extensive options across genres and production stages, from sketching to mixing.
Key Capabilities
The bundle features Kontakt 8, the latest version of the industry-leading sampling platform, now with new tools for enhanced sampling and sound creation. Massive X, the wavetable synthesizer, has been updated with a new Play Page for easier performance. Guitar Rig 7 Pro provides a versatile multi-effects rack and amp simulator for guitar and other audio processing.
A notable inclusion is Absynth 6, a legendary semi-modular synthesizer that combines granular, FM, wavetable, and subtractive synthesis. This hybrid engine is ideal for creating evolving textures and soundscapes, with deep modulation and a suite of creative effects. Other iconic synths like Reaktor 6, FM8, and Monark are also present, offering a wide range of sonic possibilities.
New Instruments and Sounds
Several new instruments expand creative possibilities. Circular transforms simple chords into evolving cinematic soundscapes, while Odes is an eclectic ensemble driven by rhythm. Claire: Avant offers an experimental take on the classic grand piano, and LCO Producer Strings brings the genre-defying sound of the London Contemporary Orchestra. Cremona Quartet Ensemble allows detailed arrangements with four precious string instruments.
Erosia is a cinematic sound design engine that listens closely to input, and the Electric Keys Definitive Collection explores decades of iconic sounds with six vintage keyboards and pianos. The Session Series includes Session Guitarist and Bassist instruments, and new Play Series additions like Marco Polo Drums, 24k Drums and Keys, Hypr, Halo Vox, Luxa, and Roux add modern, playable options.
Workflow and Integration
Komplete 26 is designed for straightforward setup, activation, and updating through Native Access 2. It offers seamless integration with Kontrol keyboards, Maschine, and a selection of third-party MIDI controllers via NKS (Native Kontrol Standard), making it easy to browse and play sounds. The bundle works with any DAW, ensuring compatibility in various production environments.
The included effects, such as iZotope Elements tools (Ozone 12, Neutron 5, Nectar 4) and Brainworx effects (bx_enhancer, bx_glue), provide mixing and creative processing. The over 150 Expansions are compatible with any DAW and integrate with products like Kontakt 8, Massive X, and Battery 4, offering genre-specific presets, drum kits, and loops for immediate use.
