Authentic Acoustic Sampling
Everything Acoustic captures ten acoustic instruments, including acoustic guitar, mandolin, ukulele, baritone ukulele, fingerpicked acoustic, and 12-string. Each instrument was sampled meticulously across the entire fretboard at three to five velocity layers, preserving natural fret buzz, wood creaks, and other sonic irregularities for an authentic feel.
The samples were recorded with high-quality microphones and preamps, featuring session players to ensure realism. The result is a virtual instrument that behaves like a real acoustic ensemble, with overtones and harmonics intact. This attention to detail provides a solid foundation for both solo performances and complex hybrid sound design.
Hybrid Layering and Mixing
A key feature is the ability to stack and blend up to ten instruments to create new hybrid tones. Onboard mixing faders allow precise control over each instrument’s level, letting you combine acoustic textures in infinite configurations. This turns the library into a creative playground for crafting unique sounds.
Each instrument also includes five per-instrument effects: pan, width, input delay, EQ, and compression. These tools let you shape individual layers before they hit the global effects, giving you deep sculpting capability. The combination of layering and per-channel processing encourages experimentation and innovation in your music production.
Creative Performance Tools
The plugin includes a fully customizable arpeggiator and a melody builder to help you perform patterns beyond your current skill level. The arpeggiator offers parameters like step number, rate, octaves, swing, step size, keyboard split, six pattern types (up, down, up-down, down-up, random, chord), and velocity, note length, and pitch offset maps.
Additional performance features include three LFOs (gain, pitch, filter) with six shape options, five portamento controls, and a customizable filter with ten types and resonance. An attack, hold, decay, sustain, release envelope with visualizer gives you comprehensive amplitude shaping. These tools are designed to unlock creative potential and bring musical ideas to life quickly.
Effects and Automation
Beyond per-instrument effects, five global onboard effects are available: drive with eight types, phaser, chorus, delay, and reverb. These can be used to add character, space, and movement to your mixes. The signal chain is straightforward, allowing you to process the entire stacked instrument sound as a whole.
All important parameters are fully automation-capable and CC mappable in major DAWs, giving you expressive control. Over 70 presets are included, with the ability to create, save, and favorite your own. The plugin is available in AU, AAX, VST3, and as a standalone app, though Garageband is not currently supported.
