The Speakers panel lets you apply Decay Rate and Post EQ bands to any combination of channels. A Surround Settings panel provides straightforward controls for balancing reverb parameters like Predelay and Character between the front and back of the spatial image.
Surround crossfeeding has been carefully implemented to deliver a convincing sense of space, while keeping channel routing intuitive so creativity remains unaffected. This allows users to capture and emulate favorite hardware reverbs, vocal booths, or drum rooms, and then manipulate them with Pro-R 2’s flexible controls.
New parameters include a Ducking control that lowers the wet signal when the dry signal is present, a Thickness knob for density and saturation, and an intelligent Auto Gate that can be synchronized to tempo. The Freeze button captures and holds the reverb tail indefinitely. These tools expand the creative range from subtle space enhancement to dramatic effects.
Preset Management and Workflow
The preset browser has been redesigned for easier navigation. Users can assign editable tags for filtered searching, mark presets as favorites for one-click access, and add author names and descriptions. Factory library and user presets are managed directly. If the original Pro-R is installed, its presets appear in Pro-R 2’s library as well, ensuring a smooth transition.
